Seattle Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf wasn't intimidated by the reigning NFC Defensive Player of the Month, Dallas Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland. Metcalf beat Bland for a long first-quarter score on "Thursday Night Football."
On the Seahawks' first possession, trailing the Cowboys 3-0, QB Geno Smith rocketed a pass to Metcalf, who had beaten Bland badly before taking it to the house for a 73-yard touchdown.

Ahead of Thursday night's matchup, Metcalf joked about Bland having more trips to the end zone (five) than his three entering Week 13. He's only one behind now.
In Week 12, Bland set the NFL record for interception returns for a touchdown in a single season, but Metcalf proved early on Thursday that the second-year CB isn't invincible.
